im going to a sound off on sunday with my daily box that i hit a 143.7 in last year.

Besides building a new box what else can i do to raise my score.

I hit that score in my buick lesabre last year. I know have a 2003 Chevy Suburban.

Besides duct taping the woofer, what else can i do?

Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"

duct tape fixes everything dont you know? actually if you duct tape around seems and around the baffle where you mount the woofer its supose to get rid of any leaks but if you build your box well it shouldnt make any noticible diference, maybe 1/10 of a db at most. unless your thor and keep ripping surounds apart.

do you have a Term Lab?

If so, test test test.

Test different frequencies, test different box positions, test different seat positions, test holding different doors, or not holding doors.

Test each change and catalog the differences, make only one change at a time, and keep track of improvements.

your question would be alot easier to take seriously if we knew what kind of equipment you have and what kind of box your using. you didnt really give us much info. we dont really know what we're trying to improve
