Besides building a new box what else can i do to raise my score. I hit that score in my buick lesabre last year. I know have a 2003 Chevy Suburban. Besides duct taping the woofer, what else can i do? Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. cqtama Posted March 18, 2010 Report Share Posted March 18, 2010 How does duck tape help? duct tape fixes everything dont you know? actually if you duct tape around seems and around the baffle where you mount the woofer its supose to get rid of any leaks but if you build your box well it shouldnt make any noticible diference, maybe 1/10 of a db at most. unless your thor and keep ripping surounds apart. Test different frequencies, test different box positions, test different seat positions, test holding different doors, or not holding doors.
