Cdizzle Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I was thinking of adding a 2nd battery to my setup, but I believe that somewhere I read that if a 2nd battery is added then you have a chance of burning up your alt, in my case generator, because it couldnt supply enough electricity to keep both batteries going. I was wondering if I added a 2nd battery if I would be safe. I plan on upgrading to an alt before the summer is up... Damn Thiefs

andym85 Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 i think you will be fine...as long as u plan on upgrading alts in the future. just dont pound the system to its limits, especially with the car off, u dont wanna make the alt work any harder then it has to! i likes me some audio stuff...
