TeejayBee
Lol kid just go away from this topic your gona get shit for it. 10's have less cone area so they can move easier then a bigger woofer. Less air has to be moved for them to go up and down. But it all depends on what subs you get and what kind of power you give them for how much it will "rattle" Lolz fail on this one
Basshead08
Yea that is an old myth that I'm guessing some poor kid made u years ago to make his buddies think his 10's were better than his buddy's 18's. I digress. Listen around to the people onhere and we can help you pick out a nice system. Any idea what subs you're going with yet? Quote System tear out has begun...Out with the old i have a iq of 128 i graduated at the top of my class tell me how im reatrded you are the 1 thats dumb as hell you can't even spell Look at the underlined text hahahahahahahaha I think of it as the virgin losing the virginity technique not just jumping in to it, and pounding away, but going at it slowly over time, to get to that full extreme

k3n12ock
I hope ur not buying these from a local audio shop with a prefab box and they throw in a 8 gauge amp kit for only 120 dollars. Then they will install it for 270 dollars please say no ^this Before you go and spend the hundreds on that JL and other stuff, read up on some of the other quality equipment on here and then make a decision. Also, a lot of people are helpful, some aren't (like me). First off, throw a budget out there and some of us might be able to price together a nice system for you. DeepsplJeep
Thats just like the myth of having an suv is louder than alil car because you have more air space. If you just dont have the space for 12s then go with 10s or if you just like smaller subs but its all about the quality. A nice 18 can out move a s*$%ty 10 any day in the right box Quote 98 Jeep Wrangler 33x13.50 super swamper LTB's Memphis M3 15" Memphis MCD1000 Optima yellowtop D34/78 Bass Race 129.9 (LBZ Duramax in the future)
