Ram1989custom
Hey guys, I am new to these forums but I have seen like all of your builds, and like them a lot. I just wanna show off my truck that I got for my 16th birthday, and am willing to take any advice and ideas into consideration. I got my truck Feb. of 2009, and here is what it looked like.Without the rack and toolbox, we took it off April or May of 2009.So I was a fool for not taking pics, but my interior was all tan and the metal was white, obviously. I had a torn up bench seat that was tan. We painted the door panels, dash, and the visors in probably July or August of 2009. We did absolutely nothing to it until Christmas.I got a set of 20" Racer wheels for Christmas, a pretty good deal on it too. A set of used (only for a week) 20" Chrome wheels with brand new tires for $800, and that includes machining it and getting a wheel lock etc. Here it is on Christmas morning. We did nothing else until around the 10th of January of this year. We painted the interior metal black, and did everything else that needed to be painted black. For my b-day on January 22, I got my windows tinted with 15% tint and got 2 Naugahyde black bucket seats from an old Vega. pretty much perfect condition. We made a box for a console for now, pretty simple with 2 cup holders. Here is the interior.Don't worry, we have black seat belts now. Here is my truck for now.Thats all for now, but I will tell you what we have in store for the future.-I plan on getting some Flowmaster 40s and some longtubes eventually.-spray on bed liner-some sort of big stereo systemAny more ideas just tell me and I will take them into consideration. Thanks!EDIT 7-23-12!Alright, I figured I would add this down here to give the people who don't wanna go through all the pages an update of what the truck looks like now and what all I have done.Mods from the time of thread started to now:-Blacked out Tail lights-K&N Air Filter-2/4 drop-I have gone through about 5 stereo setups now. I have won a total of 5 awards competing, and I did not have a chance to compete with my 12" DC Level 4, which was easily the best. I am going all out this time, and am currently working on 2 15" DC Level 4s with Level 5 coils in a 4th order blowthrough.-Bed Cover-Bassani Muffler and cat delete-4 RF Prime 3 way 6x9s and 2 Soundstream TWS.4 Tweeters-Audiopipe AP15001D-Some sort of 650W JBL 4-channel-1 Million Color interior lights-Fresh white paint, followed later by a flat black stripe going up the drivers side.-New Pirellis (245 50 ZR20s)-Roll Pan-Remodeled my grill (Flat Black and silver, with a Mopar emblem in it)-Big 3 upgradeHow it looks now. 1989 Dodge D150, 318 LA; Holley Fuel InjectionBuild Log:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/72838-dc-dodge-d150-blowthrough-thread-updated-pics-fixed-2-level-4-15s-wlvl-5-coils/Truck Add-ons: 20" rims2/4 drop15% tintBucket seatsK&N air filterSmog Pump deleteStereoWORK IN PROGRESS2 DC Level 4 15s with Level 5 Coils1 Audiopipe AP15001D (Soon to be a Crescendo BC3500)JBL 650W amp (unsure of model)4 6x9 Rockford Prime 3 ways2 Soundstream TWS.4 Dome tweetersKnuKonceptz 1/0 Power Wire *3 Kinetik 2400s and a Mechman 270A alt in the future*

Ryan k.
Ya lower it for sure, and for the exhaust just take it to an exhaust shop and they can bend all the tubing for your, and get flowmaster 40 mufflers. 2001 Dodge Ram

Ram1989custom
Yeah I am definitely gonna lower it. I only have about 3 inches of room in the front in between the wheel well and the tire, so I will just be able to lower the back about 2.5"-3". I'll see what I can do, but I need some more weight in the back. I will probably just put some weight packs in the back and make it set level. 1989 Dodge D150, 318 LA; Holley Fuel InjectionBuild Log:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/72838-dc-dodge-d150-blowthrough-thread-updated-pics-fixed-2-level-4-15s-wlvl-5-coils/Truck Add-ons: 20" rims2/4 drop15% tintBucket seatsK&N air filterSmog Pump deleteStereoWORK IN PROGRESS2 DC Level 4 15s with Level 5 Coils1 Audiopipe AP15001D (Soon to be a Crescendo BC3500)JBL 650W amp (unsure of model)4 6x9 Rockford Prime 3 ways2 Soundstream TWS.4 Dome tweetersKnuKonceptz 1/0 Power Wire *3 Kinetik 2400s and a Mechman 270A alt in the future*

Ram1989custom
hey, I found a dual exhaust that will fit my truck without too much work. Is this good or would I be better off taking it to an exhaust shop and get one custom fitted? http://www.streetperformance.com/part/gibson-exhaust/cat-back-exhaust-system/582449-66100.html Thats how much I expected to spend on one. edit: @Bumpin. I don't know if it was 1000w total between the 2 amps, or 1000w separate, but I know that my dad had the whole system in his car for a year now, and it sounds great with no problems whatsoever. I don't quite understand this fully yet so sorry for any inconveniences. 1989 Dodge D150, 318 LA; Holley Fuel InjectionBuild Log:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/72838-dc-dodge-d150-blowthrough-thread-updated-pics-fixed-2-level-4-15s-wlvl-5-coils/Truck Add-ons: 20" rims2/4 drop15% tintBucket seatsK&N air filterSmog Pump deleteStereoWORK IN PROGRESS2 DC Level 4 15s with Level 5 Coils1 Audiopipe AP15001D (Soon to be a Crescendo BC3500)JBL 650W amp (unsure of model)4 6x9 Rockford Prime 3 ways2 Soundstream TWS.4 Dome tweetersKnuKonceptz 1/0 Power Wire *3 Kinetik 2400s and a Mechman 270A alt in the future*
