ty_houston
I hope your port is going to at least have a turn in it? If not it'll be a low note monster and that's all it will play and it won't do very good numbers. Not trying to hate bro. Everything looks good. But I've been down this road a few times. Hahaha that's propaly all I should say about that. What do you mean by turn? Is that the same as radius the port? baron_of_bass
damn man Im about an hour away from you I would love to get a demo of this thing when its all done!! once its done i do plan on demoing the living shit out of it, but i still have a ling way to go i have to fiberglass the box and doors, find a way to fit 13 d3100s, and take it to rob from dc power to he can try to add a 5th or 6th alternator. when i get closer to finishing id be more then happy to give you a demo man. i was thinking the same thing a lot of other people were about the bracing, but seeing these new pics it looks pretty sturdy to me...... my name is justin smith, and i approve this build fyi edit: what kind of screws are those sir thanks man i know some people that it wasnt going to hold i had just started working on it the other day. i still have 3 more dowels and 6 pieces of 2x4 to go so hopefully by monday im done with the bracing. and them 3 layers of 29 oz. so box is going to take some time. as for the screws there COMPOSITE WOOD screws some of the better screws i have used. its most def. worth the extra dollar or two. they also do work on mdf... Damn look crazy and good at the same time. thanks same as steve meade, ur doin the same thing as him there isnt much that you can do in a tahoe without getting rid of the rear seats, and im not ready to do that. im trying my best to keep it a different, but like i said there isnt much that i can do because im pressed for space. Great job, braced to hell and back. Don't take the meade thing personal, still takes nuts and $ to do a build like this, so my hat goes off to you! Keep the pics coming, shit looks great so far, and yes do the SD's, was that a 12 or 16k? thats a 12kd i have it sitting in my garage i blew my level 5s the other day with it, so i have to get them reconed. if i do decide to run sound digital id run 2 16kd's at .7 ohms. id also run there 4 channel amps and a smaller amp for my mid bass drivers.
