I wish I had stayed home... but that's another post (see Competition corner) anyway... here are a few pix from today... ok... this is where we left off... first baffle cut, and test fit for maximum happiness... Then I laid it out and made a copy... and then a few more... and a few router blades later... of course these are not glued or screwed together as of yet... that will have to be done one at a time IN the Hummer... then on to the port... and port braces all five in the truck... (the 5th panel is not attached yet... just a few screws to hold it for pix... you will see why soon. . and here was the secret part... a few have seen this... its the trim for the amp rack... more to come.... Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Ric Thornton Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Its coming together nicely. Are you doing any rear support for the subs? Nick at Ascendant Audio has assured me that a 3.75" baffle with 1/4" diameter 3" lag screws holding the subs should do the job.
