16k x 3 is 48k... divide that by 6 and you get 8K PER SUB !! holy power lol

If the subs are d2 and he's running 2 per amp, each amp will see 2 ohms... before rise.. After rise, probably 4 ohms or more.... You're looking at 2kw per sub on a good day... Hopefully that problem is addressed.

Playing the whole low end frequency range makes the impedance rise to not rise that much. Say the coils read 1.7DCR, I'd guess it would stay at an average of 2.5 ohms (most due to the power compression), sometimes close to Re, sometimes more than 3x that.

Pushing a sub towards its limit also play a role in keeping the impedance rise low, as the coil travels outside the gap the counter electromotive force is reduced (the brake force the motor applies to the coil).

The 16kD can easily break the 12kW mark at 2 ohms, so the idea of one of them pushing two subs wouldn't be bad.

ok small update: Hopefully I can order my amps next week..Doing 4 16ks now, 3 5ks and some of the new 600.4s.. Murilo gave me a few ideas so i'm gonna give it a shot. The 4th 16k will be for 6 12" beyma subs/mids in the rear area facing out, they will play down to around 60 or 70 htz. And i'm gonna do 2 5ks on the 8s instead of 1 12k. Also gonna add some more runs from the alts...will have 16 total now...and somewhere btwn 26-30 runs in the back...adding some more batts too, going for 20 if they will fit. I have some dakota digital gauges for the A pillars and now all I need is a seatbelt to make me legit. I think that's it..thanks everybody.
