David12460
Ok so I have been wanting an upgrade from my (4) 8" Sundown E8's @ 1000w. I have about 3.5 cubic feet to work with. I will be buying a new amp soon. It will be around 2500w. Should I go with a 15" fully loaded FI BTL or (2) 12" DC Lvl 4's? I listen to a wide range of music and want this to get loud when I want it to. I tend to push my subs pretty hard at times. Suggestions? Opinions? keepinitloud
is 3.5 cubes all you have then I'd go with one btl 15 the two dc 12's are gonna need a little more space than that Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1

I could go bigger if I needed to but I would prefer 3.5 cunic feet.
kirill007
If you have 3.5cu ft, then don't forget port and subwoofer displacement.(0.26cu ft for the Fi BTL is think) Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
hamel52
if you can build the right box and have the right amp i think you will like the btl thing is a beast can easily handle over 2000rms daily

cvxsmitty58
i vote 1 btl just for the fact that you will be able to do what you want with the box
devil4u2c
Yeah btl, you would have plenty of room for the sub to breath, not really as good for the dc's IMO
David12460
What about a 15" DC Level 5? What you guys choose between, a FI BTL or Level 5?
