Rockford 1500.1, a JBL1004GTO 4 channel, Alpine CDA117, 16GB iPod Nano, Alpine Type S 6.5" Components, Alpine type S 6.5" coaxial, Rockford Fosgate 0 AWG wiring kit. Here are some pics. Im using 1/4 hard board to build the box in the back of my truck. My Boss showing me how to use a router. After all the cutting I still have to pick up 2 Optima Yellow tops for the back. The batteries go under the amp rack. The amp rack is under the oval window. I will have Plexi-glass in the Oval cutout. What do you guys think? lower tuning is just hard. They told me due the fact that the subs will be seeing more watts RMS than they are rated for that I should use there specs... lower tuning is just hard. Alpine recommends 22.5 inches squared per 15 @ 2.9 cubes. The box i have now sounds great using there specs. we build boxes for Type R's all the time and have never had an issue. I do agree that the port is small but in the pics it looks SUPER small due to the fact that the top "cover" is 61" X 33"... lower tuning is just hard.
