i've got a set of Image dynamic 6x9 midbass drivers.. the most expensive one's and a set of RF coax Power 6x8's going on a Kenwood 600.2 and 4 RF P1 8"s on a RF T600.2. I think they should be louder

Right now i've got the 6x9's and 6x8's in the front doors in some foam cups i bought from crutchfield. and the 8's in a small long sealed box behind the seat with my subs in a blow through in the bed.

i've been reading about ppl putting there mids in boxes and i/b set ups. i have a single cab ranger and was just wondering what everyone thought would be my best option to set up my mids to make them louder with out having to buy more drivers. maybe chopping off the back of the box for the 8's and making it i/b. the ID 6x9's are the only set i'm planning on keeping if i have to buy true midrange drivers cuz there the only true ones i have.

what's the deal with the foam cups? i've seen good and bad reviews. i just don't know what's best for what i already have and would like more ummmmmph from all my hard spent money. :santa:

what are your suggestions on the 8's there in a minimum sized box. i've seen ppl put 2 in a box on a single T600.2 but idk?

i know my next investment is going to be sound deadening for the doors.... should have done that long time ago.

are you using any kind of EQ or Sound Processor? with a 2 channel amp you dont have the EQ settings or adjustments, also coax's arent the greatest for reproducing mids IMO

ditch the xtc baffles.

8's are fine.

just get some loud mids.

Put in some sound deadener and seal up the doors as best as you can. Also make sure no air is leaking past your speakers when they are in the door.

Is everything wired in phase?

i have the 8's on a t600.2 and the the 6x9's and 6x8's on a boss 300.2 which is going to a kenwood 600.2 this week end. the 8's are mono on center of 360.2 and the other's are on rear of 360.2 l/r and my id horns are on front l/r.

i have 2 T112's on a T1000,1 for subs.

horns are 1250hz up prob need to bump that up some huh.. 4k ish sound right?

6x9's & 6x8's are 500-1250hz then up this to 4k too

8's are 80hz-500hz cuz they just don't have any output after that so i figured 4stage sound

subs get 80hz down.

and yuh in phase.

i took the cups out and now i have some rattle but the lower one with the 6x8's were full of water.........literaly a pint in each... they are toasted.. just the tweets work.. that makes x3 sets of RF Power speaker's i've destroyed and 2sets of punch 6x9 coax. I need to quit buying RF speakers and stick to the subs and amps.. when i get the 360 put back in i won't need them any more so they will be out Fri.

seal the speakers...do you mean front from back like the cups were suppose to do? like deaden the door skin and then seal the inner skin to where the speakers are mounted?
