What Ohm load are the speakers and what will the amp support

A 2 channel amp is always a 2 channel amp, can you wire more than 1 set of speakers, yes. Wire a pair down to a 2 ohm or you can wire 4 sets back to 4 ohms, most all 2 channel amps are capable of running 2 and 4 ohm loads, just wire accordingly.

you can make it a 4 channel if you add another amp

Just so long as the mids are 4 ohms each you'll have no problem running them on that amp.
