I want to fit two 18's in a Truck. Is it Possible or Overkill?

Hello, I want to take out the rear seats in a Ford F150 XL Supercrew Cab and, put 2 18's back there. According to the recommended specs for the FI BTL 18, I need 5 - 10 cu. ft. per sub for the enclosure. Is it overkill to try to put all that in the 2nd row of a supercrew cab? That is 10-20 cu. ft. for an enclosure. I wanted to know if anybody else has tried this or have put larger subwoofers in the 2nd row of their truck. Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks everybody, I really don't want to put them in a wall so what's a good size @dwright27 or anybody else for a decent ported enclosure and wouldn't it be better to have the port facing upward to allow it to breathe. I can work on the tuning freq. later. Thanks

you could do port up woofers up or woofers forward port up.

IMO port up woofers up sounds better.

tune low like 30 - 35
