tiller1 Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 Okk soo after i redid my box it was fine! but after beatin for a while ive started to hear the back hatch more! and now it sounds like its slapping against the seal!! is there any way i can seal it up without a permanent fix! i have to open it to open my tail gate! BeatBox Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) well i heard of putting a washer where the latch is mounted to the tailgate, makes it alittle more tighter. thats you best bet along with some wide weather stripping. mr.p Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 id do something i doubled up weather stripping on my explorer and ended up actually tearing the threads out of the hinges that hold the back glass on....tough times. rear glass held on by the lift struts ftl.
