I wanted to paint my brakes and rotors. but they are rusted so would i have to sand the rotors first or is there a paint that i can just spray them with and will stick

they make caliper paint, any autoparts store should have it. I just spray them with brake cleaner, wiped down, then spray away. never had any problems with the paint sticking

99 suburban, ranger rover headlights, SS front bumper,roll pan with frenched tag, 2nd row delete,glassed dash..audio to come whenever I figure out what I want.

I used a metal brush which i adapted to my cordless drill to clean the rust off of the calipers first, then i soaked the calipers under metal etch to make sure i got all the rust, sprayed primer let it set and added paint from kragen auto parts.

You're gonna want to get most of that rust off before you paint them. Get a whole lot of brake parts cleaner and some wire bristle brushes.

You're gonna want to get most of that rust off before you paint them. Get a whole lot of brake parts cleaner and some wire bristle brushes.

That the first thing i should do. Sometimes i would just think buying a new one have it painted new and fresh..
