Guest
brown stuff on the threads should be some sort of antiseize on a brand new spark plug? its on the base of the side electrode only.
EricM9104
Antiseize should be used on a new spark plug to prevent it from being a royal pain in the fucking ass to take out. kirill007
It's a oil and gas mixture. Black means it's a too rich air/fuel mixture, so the jet needs to be smaller. Black means it's a too rich air/fuel mixture, so the jet needs to be smaller. the way i have it set now, i have to richen the fuel mixture like 2.5 turns for it to even catch and start. when im using the electric start, it doesnt like to fire till its like flooded with fucking gas/oil. so that burnt oil or w/e it is doesnt harm anything? yeah 2 stroke noob.. oil plus gas, it's perfectly normal, put it back inside the engine, and stop trying to be a mechanic go back to your forum. EricM9104
2 strokes require a oil/gas mixture. If using just gas, hello seized up motor. Boon
Do you have to pre-mix or is it oil injected? It's running rich, either way. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
