ANOTHER different build, 2 12s doing 147 @ 42 hz :)

Recommended Posts

I don´t like them either bro, i only build them for comps and that´s it, i love my daily box, 151 dbs on a VERY musical box with a flat respond, but, there´s a SPL comp coming very soon and i´m thinking on getting there, 151 dbs it´s not impressive, i´m gonna try a 154 and then i´ll get back my daily box as always hehe.

There´s a lot of guys competing against me on bass race 149.9 class that use burp boxes, they score great numbers with less equipment but those cars sound horrible, they can´t even get some nice demos because subs can get damaged, i´ll build this box and i´m gonna use it for a bass race event so they can see the difference hehe, i always get the dumb commment saying that i should score a lottt better than them, i mean, WTF? shut up dude, you use a one note wonder, i don´t!!! :turkey:

hehe long time without watching this topic hommie, 150 dbs isnt that difficult on the explorer, at least not on 4 doors, i haven´t work on the 2 doors, you have A GREAT system and big ass cone area, but as i told you on your topic, explorers are very sensitive, not only about tuning, but also on port location, your box is tall as hell and the port is choking if it´s facing to the hatch, also, my explorer SUCKSSSS ASS if i use a port on the bottom of the box across the car, that´s why i use a center vertical from top to bottom facing to the hatch!!

You have the equipent, you just need to make a couple of tweaks my friend, i know you can do it, check my SPL Gains topic tomorrow, you are gonna find a couple of new things that can help you out raising your score without spending 1$ :pardon:

im definitely looking forward to that. ive got a couple ideas of how to redo my box. but its hard to come up with the volume these subs need. they only need 1 cube per but then add the port and all and im around 10+ cubes for my box

thanks a lot hommie, after a couple of tweaks this scored raised a lot, i need to change the title of this topic lol , it hit a 151.8 @ 51 hz sealed on the dash and 153.1 dbs on the kick , this topic is gonna be updated in a few weeks after i build my new box using all the tips i´ve learned on my last testings using a single sub, take a look at my SPL Gains topic and you´ll see what i´m talking about :)
