I do believe all 3 will print it out but yes you should definitely go back to one of those places and get a print out and order the parts from them. Then put them on yourself. A lot less stress and bullshit than having to deal with a mechanic who wants to screw you out of your money. Exactly why I do all my work myself.

It's a shame that some asshats have to try and screw you out of your money. If on your receipts it says it was replaced I would raise a bitch about him either not replacing it or doing so with a defective part.

Maybe take it somewhere else and see what they say, then use their opinion against him.

I would do it myself but exhaust work + no lift = pain in the ass.

I went to Autozone and guess what, catalytic converter. Same shit he's been saying but decided to change today. Basically:

*Catalyst efficiency low-bank 1
Explanation:
*The O2 sensors monitor the Catalytic Converters ability to store oxygen
Probable cause:
Catalytic Converter defective (failure possibly due to #2,3,or 4)
*2. engine misfire or running condition
*3. large vacuum leak
*4. engine oil leakage into exhaust-valve guide seals, pistons rings

We have no lift and weve did plenty of exhaust work. You just have to be careful and pay close attention to what you are doing. Is there any way you could possibly jack it up and drop the exhaust, weld it up, and then bolt it back up?

I would hate to have a problem with the converter because I have two with the sensor in the center of the two.

pulling codes is all fine and dandy, but i do hope you realize that a slow reacting oxygen sensor that is still within its operating parameters can cause a cat efficiency code as well. Shop that put the cat on needs to grab a damn infared heat gun and see if the cat is even firing.

Pm me the codes, i can do all this stuff at school and tell you what it is, obd2 is the computer they hook up to your car to run diagnostics, not like the one you can borrow at auto parts stores, but it picks up the trouble codes when your car first turns on and runs the diagnostic checks. I can take the codes from it, and check it on our program at school. If it's saying something bout the cat, im calling bs and calling it an O2 sensor
