I'd 2nd the waiting. my entry level setup I got cheap except I'm already wanting to see how big of an amp I can go on my stock electrical and get some better subs that can handle more. If your patient you can find some deals. I know they are entry level but I got my prefab polk box with 2 Polk DB 12s for $149 new from Frys electronics sale and my Punch 600.1BD I got used off craigslist for $80. I'm sure you can find a good 500-600 watts rms amp for $100. He can also run only one sub : why not a 15" ?
