why not get a set of steelies or something and throw those tires on them to race in?

I wouldn't do it dude

I've got some pretty low tread on my low pros and in the rain if I just barely tap the gas around a turn I can slide the back end out

I even put it in 4 wheel drive and I can still slide the back

tread is everything, especially when its raining

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

The most simple way to put it, those are track tires. They are meant for one thing and one thing only, race cars on a race track. Not daily driving, not street racing, a track. Why would you even think this is a good idea. That is just dangerous, your worried about rain, those will not even grip well on normal roads.

I would get a summer tire or all season tire if you drive your car in the rain a lot (it'll handle a little better). You might have to just have a set of summer and winter tires, its what i do with my camaro. Just get a cheap set of steelies or rims for winter tires, and put nicer rims on for summer tires. And why don't you take your racing to the track where you can't risk killing anyone but yourself? Not my place to say, but i can't stand people who do, but if you must I'd find a back road and block it off from the public..by the way, what car is this for?
