BTL vs DD vs Memphis

Alright guys so i had a post yesterday about subs.. we agreed on the 9518. I went up to the dealer, got the prices and everything and it'll be fine. However, is a 9518 really gonna be any louder than a btl? I will prob settle on a 15. I went up there and saw the mojos... what about these? are they even comparable? any help would be appreciated, JW

No personal experience with any of these. From reading and reading and reading, i'd ditch the mojos, and unless you are running massive amounts of power, the BTL would do you just fine. You could save your money and get a better amp. What are you planning on running this beast with?

currently i just have a rockford 1500-1 at >1800 watts. what i get will depend on the the sub(s)... i'll push it as far as my budget will allow either way. the amp i priced yesterday was 4500+ I think a btl would handle more than a mojo? Lol and kranny, i've done that kind of research, and got nowhere. its biased as hell and I not what im looking for. I'd recommend rf all day for amps, prob over anything, but that doesnt mean they are the best. Just the best ive ever dealt with. People on here have competition knowledge and have actually heard these. I live in mich we dont have that kinda crap up here lol

I would personally go with the DD. No one can tell you which will truly be louder every aspect of the build could hurt/help your build. Car,power,box,etc on down the list.

With that RF i would Run the Mojo though it will eat that 1800 watts up all day and love it. I have personally run DD and Memphis and prefer Memphis products cuz they are really clean and musical. Just my .02

BTL would get loud off that wattage beings how efficient they are, but every BTL ive heard I dont like the sound of them.

Memphis Mojo is a awesome driver and sounds great and sexy looking. It is a good all around sub.

DD 9518 is a good driver also and can sound pretty good.

out of all them after hearing many different setups with those subs, I honestly would choose the Memphis Mojo

Considering your power, the MOJOs would do just fine. They can take little power or tons of power and sound good all day.

The DDs are good too, but for the price difference I vote MOJO.

EDIT: Did I mention they are cleaner than hell?

PS i would change up the amp to something that is better than RF.

What kinda price diffence is there? I know i got a great deal on my DD's so im not sure what they retail for... The mojo's are about $400 for the 15's arnt they?
