Mrbubbles00482
2005 Frontier Pioneer DEH-P7100BT Kicker L7 10" (new style) Soundstream DTR 900.1 (2) Kenwood KFC683ie's Soooo I'm doing this on the side for a buddy of mine instead of at the shop I work at. My boss doesn't like doing fiberglass and won't agree with me on things so. Box is a little over 1 cubic foot right now, I might can squeeze a port in there somewhere...just depends on what it sounds like sealed. I main problem was the depth of the 10' this truck is a 4 door and there isn't any room at all. I had to unzip the seat cover to get to the metal bottom pan and beat it in. The drive shaft hump had to be molded with glass, along with the floor right below the magnet (you will see the hole in the picture where the subs magnet sits in) and to clear the rest of the seat because the pan is bent in now the top will be glassed. Pics. The truck Interior and headunit in The horribly small space I'm working with.. Box.. Glass

neuspeedescort
for a limited space your doing it right. however a port will not sound good on only 1 cube with that square. so rock it sealed. 1 cube is over sized minorly from minimum spec so it will dig low. oh and it sounds to me like your boss doesn't want to make any money in the stereo business not wanting to do glass. NEUMAN Ya I figured it will be fine sealed, ported spec is 1.25 cubes. And ya the boss has drifted away from box building and all that...he said he got tired of people talking and never coming back to actually get the box built. Mrbubbles00482
Pics. Was forced to use bondo resin....paint shop was closed.. Also, I hate working with fleece...soaks up waaaayyy to much resin at one time, Ponte' is the way to go. Pulled from the truck (2 more layers have been added to the bottom since this photo..) Soaked out (I hope...there is a hole quart of resin in that fleece ) I'll have more up in a little while when I start laying matt. Also, I'll have another log for my car soon, maybe not tonight...but it will be up within the next few days. I have an' 82' Cutlass 4 door thats getting full paint and interior restoration. returning to factory in my grandmothers memory as she gave me the car. Audio will be the only non-stock thing. Q-logic kicks, black suede rear deck with 4x10's.

klee7013
nice i am working on a build for my frontier right now got 1.5 cubic feet from under the seat but it does stick out past the seat one reason due to mounting depth problems if ya need to raise the seat because the sub is hitting the seat try these out and screw them into the rubber stops of the seats mine still lock with a little bit of force and gives you more height in the front part which may help if needed also keep up the good work
