Its a big amount of coin to drop on one woofer, but I like the field replaceable SPAIR idea.. I just gotta see if I can get one to fit in my truck. 2005 Blazer Build... I have a reg. cab S10 and I've seen a single L7 in a ported box behind the seat. I was going to try to figure out if a Solo X will fit aswell... 2005 Blazer Build... There's no way you'd be able to fit that in there. Just the depth would make it a huge problem, let alone the air space needed. I am a fan of them though. I'm running 1 18" in my navigator and it puts out some boom boom.

Laho Nui Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I'd say any L7 might be a problem. Mounting depth and air space as well. You might be better off running multiple 8's. Perhaps RE, Sundown. Just my 2 cents.

STEvil Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 You could do the area under the seat(s) in a bit of MDF and fiberglass to add more air space.. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
