justified Posted April 23, 2010 Report Share Posted April 23, 2010 I just purchased this amp to run my re sxx 12's it was perfict i realy love this amp. My question is is it enough for 2 18" re sx, they are rated for the same power as the 12's 1000 rms, the amp seems to get a little warmer with the 18's i do not want to damage it, if i purchase another and strap them i think i would have way to much for the re's i have a 220 amp alt, big three, 2 optmia yellow tops, if i am starving this amp i will up grade my batts any help would be greately apperated. I am also running a sax 100x4 these are the nicest amps I have run just replaced my rockford powers with these and would like to protect them. Thanks. bigbodylexus Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 I don't see how switching the subs would cause a difference in output of the amplifier as long as they are wired to the same load.
