So, you trunk guys, how do you access your spare tire? Id have to remove the rear seat, unsecure the box, slide it forward, then get to it. I think this is a reasonable sacrifice considering ive given up my whole trunk almost. My mom, thinks its retarded. I said the other options are leave it in the garage and have someone drive it to me (my least favorite option), or pay for AAA i guess. Again, she thought those options were retarded. I know alot of you who have trunks and big boxes in your DDs have to have some way of dealing with this. So what do you do?

Former trunk guy here.

This is exactly how mine was, except the rear seats folded down. I could just push the box back after unbolting it. It would go back far enough to get the spare out/ access the tools.

How often do you use the spare? It shouldn't take too long if you really only need to have access 1 or 2 times a year. Only other option IMO is to sit it in the rear "footwell", behind the front seat. Do what you gotta do...unless it's a showcar, or you're a chauffeur.

If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears.

He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest.

Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video

Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz...

These are the things that make me lol

There's a wall in the way.

Then put it in the port.

And I refuse to sport a spare, so I don't even worry about it. plus my dad's friend owns a towing company.

Just make a roof rack on your car, and only carry your tire when you take a trip. I used to do that when i owned my Bronczilla.

ktowndriftking does have his tire where his back seat "was" haha. for me it would suck to get a flat as i have no cell to call for help and pushing the box back would not workout cause i dont keep the special bit to takeout the back of the rear seat in the car. fuckit keep driving. stock rims are cheap.

And far as the best connection ever.......

get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.

now thats just crazy.

Seeing as in my 5 years of driving (well, 6, but 5 with a license) Ive needed a spare twice, once when i spun out my moms subrurban on a nasty corner in the rain back in HS (broke the bead and the tire went completely flat, but not till after a 270 into curb hop. And once in my lancer recently when i blew a tire. Dont know how, it was dark and late, guessing pothole. So i think ill just carry a 17mm and 14mm sockets, and a socket wrench, and a Phillips tip screwdriver, which is everything ill need to get the back seat out, and unfasten the brackets i fabbed that hold the box in place.

Funny thing, my dad, who i expected to flip shit over this (mind you he still doesnt and WONT know about the sheet metal i removed for a long while even though its my car, he would flip shit and call me a dumbass till he was blue in the face) was pretty chill, didnt really give a shit, where as my mom, the usually more relaxed of the two, flipped shit over something so small and insignificant.

Greatest question, You didnt think about this before you did all this? Answer: Yea, i planned on this all along... Her: Thats the most asinine thing ive ever heard, who the hell would do that?

(not a completely lame mom though, shes a pretty good shot)

Obviously shes never been on SMD

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked
