magillaru
I am trying to figure out if I can fit 2 DC Audio level 5 15's in my 2004 Honda Accord. I currently have 2 subs in their now, each with their own port (which leaves maybe a little extra room, but not much), which measures: 36" X 25.5" X 17" which would then be converted to: 3' X 2.17' X 1.42' = 9.2 cubic feet Is this right? Does this mean that I have 9.2 cubic feet to work with? Please tell me if my calculations are correct. Thanks! Neo_frog
If those are exterior dimensions, then no, you will have less space. But you don't need to meet size requirements of the box. You can trade off the efficiency with more power. If the box is single thick, then the max measurements you have would be 7.42cu. That's fine for two 15s. Need an install? Neo_frog
Expect to run them on a lot of power since the port will eat up more space. Need an install? magillaru
Expect to run them on a lot of power since the port will eat up more space. One port then? Or, can I have a split box, each sub with their own port (like I do now)? Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild

kirill007
I wouldn't do it. Do 2 12's, would sound better and can be as loud.(because it would be in it's optimal enclosure) And it's easier to fit the box into the trunk. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
