I guess I shouldn't find it funny that you are saying no to Mitch Hedberg and then backing up Dane Cook.

no, you can say whatever you want and find whatever you want funny. honestly it doesnt matter. im sharing an opinion. and in my post i stated some of dane cook. im not sticking up for him, only debating when people say his jokes are stolen. and then theres nothing else to back up that allegation, let alone the fact he did that joke a million times better.

a lot of comedy isnt just about the joke, the punchline, but about the delivery. hedberg isnt bad...just never made me laugh really hard. dane cook on the other hand has made me laugh to the point of exhaustion.

The punchline and delivery IS part of it, but when it's not original and essentially stolen from someone else I find it hard to laugh at.

comparing them side to side its still easy to see no jokes have been stolen. and if you really want to get technical when joking about a "subject" because thats all an itchy asshole is, a subject. a very general one actually that a lot of people have dealt with. i guess theyre all stealing jokes from ck too, there must have been 0 itchyassholes before him. but if you really want to get technical on the subject, i believe steve martin did a stand up like 20 years before they did about naming a child with repetitive sounds or something really rediculous. i guess ck stole the joke first eh?

the answer is no. subjects will be used, reused, cycled, and recycled by different people putting their own personal spin on it. doesnt make it stolen.

yea i see what your saying, i think its funny because a lot of the stuff he talks about, really happens in a lot of hispanic families. but hey everyone has different taste.
