How to wire through "S" shaped door grommet

lol, those grommets pop out man, just stick a flathead screwdriver in one side n pry it out, some pull right out, or u can push it out from behind the kick panel if u want to, i think i did it that way to not scratch my paint

but it does work and is a hell of alot easier to do it that way than trying to fish some wire threw a damn accordion type thing, i tried it without popping it out and after about 20 F words i said screw it n popped it out, and worked fine for me

I think i'll try to do that. I'll try to pop it off tomrrow and run some speaker wire through it and fise that do the back of the car.

Just about. the bottom on mine curves up a little more and its not that high

try welding wire double it up and run it thru. welding wire is very flexable

what i do is i picked up a piece of flexible plastic tubing at a hardware store 3/8inch x 2ft. i push it through than run wire through the center of that. every time i use wire like a coat hanger the wires im pulling get snagged at come loose about half way. this works for me. thought i was genius when i though of it. just my .02

Get yourself a few A/C duct zip ties from home depot or lowes.

They work excellent for fishing wires through tight spots. They are flexible yet stiff depending on where you need them to maneuver. They are plastic, so no stabbing through your rubber grommets when you don't want it to.

Sometimes it just isnt possible. Like for example my Lincoln LS, impossible to do, So imma have to remove the entire door and drill holes for my multiple runs of speaker wire.

I just dont see it possible to run something through without taking the grommet off. I think it needs to be pried off, then wire run through that way.

silicone spray lube also works great for stuff like this

and if you are running more than one speaker wire just do one to start then duct tape the other to the one you just ran through and pull it more

its really just patience

Since i cant get a real pic till later, here's a paint version.

You could kinda stretch it out so it's only a gentle curve instead of 3 sharp ones. Then it should probably go through, or you would be able to get something through to pull it through.
