3Sixty.2 on Pioneer DEH-P780MP

Recommended Posts

I have been geeking about wanting an 3Sixty for a while now. When I had my screen it would have done a lot for me. Now I have an opportunity to get a 3Sixty.2, it's not the best deal for me but I would be helping a friend out @ the same time, and I am wondering if it is really necessary anymore.

I have my old 780mp hooked up until my insurance company figures out what they are gonna do for me (they have the special investigations team looking into my claim, they don't think I could have had all the stuff I had in my Jimmy), and I now realize how much I miss it and don't really NEED a screen.

It has 5 volt preouts and A LOT of options for tuning, cross, TA, all sorts of shit. The biggest thing I was looking @ the 3Sixty for when I had my screen was bass control, now that I am in this deck, I can turn my subs down to -25 and it turns it WAY down.

Here is a link to the feats of the 7800mp which is the same thing just not the premier model.

LMK what you guys think. Is the 3Sixty really that big of a deal or not.

i kinda want one but i don't think i REALLY need it...

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

I've heard that the difference is night and day because you can't control pretty much everything-crossovers, slopes, individual speakers, etc. The fact that one knob controls the system makes it that much nicer

i personally think the 360 would be a good investment but you have to way your options.......you pretty much need a computer with bluetooth or a palm device to use it. ive been through the motions with what to buy, you will def. have more control over your audio with the 360. anyways, if you like that deck you should check out the deh-980bt, it pretty much the same with bluetooth built in....or you could go with a deh-p800prs which would give you more control than the other decks...
