slugdub Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 You know, I always sort of hated about myself the fact I can't really sit through old black and white movies. I have also wanted to watch some Japanese classic Samurai stuff, I hear they are some of the best ever.. but anyhow, I realized one day that old Westerns are actually quite badass and bloody and adult despite being 'old.' Right now I'm watching A Fistful of Dynamite by Sergio Leone. I know I also like Outlaw Josie Wales. I am going to grab that and Django right now actually (that one has a coffin with gatling gun in it, so can't be bad)... are there any other good ones people can recommend? A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly(this one is a must), Hang 'Em High, High Plains Drifter, Pale Rider. Never really got into John Wayne's western's but Clint Eastwood's westerns are money, actually all of Clint's movies are money but that's a different thread.
