My question to you guys, can anyone give me some box ideas for both 1 and 2 10" setups, length x width x height and port and all that, I have never built a box before and wouldn't mind doing this myself. Looking for ideas and what you guys think as I am doing a first install and would love to do more.

Alex K
Go ported. It'll be louder for 2 10's. If shes looking for more sound quality, make a sealed box. You first need to measure the trunk and get your max dimensions. Also make sure you double measure your opening for the trunk so you know the max height and length of a box you can put in. Then use this calc to find port tuning, dimensions, all that good stuff http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator-updated-310/ Wouldnt hurt to watch a few videos on RF's box build. It taught me a lot of stuff. 2 or 3 parts i think.. You can also browse around the sub and enclousure part of the forum and get ideas of what people are doing. That'll help you out a lot too. Just dont rush what youre trying to do and itll turn out good Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. My Feedback Thread i used to think a band pass was something you were around your neck or something. BluX
I used a JBL BP1200.1 on my stock '91 Celica, which led to alternator and battery problems. Just be prepared for electrical problems when using a 1kW amp or above... I got my stock alternator, think it was 65A fixed after it went out, got an Optima Yellow Top as my primary battery, and did the big 3... no more problems after that, except for some dimming but that was it. This is the entire reason why I stay under 1kW.
