Then he said that. I built it up with 2x4s then the pvc to help airflow. baaudio Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 29, 2012 got to meter today. no i didnt get any pics so youre gonna have to take my word for it.... metered a 150.6 @36hz, 145.x @26hz with both windows down, and 147 @30hz both windows down. only change from the 149.8 is the port. at the show i metered 149.3, then 149.8 when i moved my passenger seat forward and tilted all the way forward. the 150.6 was with the passenger seat in a normal position, i didnt think to change it til after id left. as for the 2k of power, im running a pair of Cerwin-Vega Stroker 2000.1s at 1.4 each dropping to 13.0v full tilt. i have not clamped them but they have been clamped at 2200 watts at 1.2 ohm at 12.5v. so the 2000 watts is more of a guesstimation Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

baaudio Posted May 30, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2012 0.8 dbs gain by doing that?? awesome results!! yup, just the way you see it too. since ive flushed the screw heads, as well as duct taping the whole gap around the pvc on both sides. idk if it helped or not, i havent even turned it on since i finished that >>if you want to get technical, it was more like 1.3 db gain because for the 149.8 i moved the seat, the 149.3 i had the seat in a regular position. for the 150.6 it was in a normal position. baaudio Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 heres a bit of work i got done tonight. rewired all the woofers with some nice rockford fosgate 12 gauge, used about 75 feet... Then i started getting the amps ready. Didnt have time to get them all hooked up, still waiting on two more batteries anyways. should have it playing tomorrow night and be ready for our show on sunday.
