benz280se
the other day i scored 138.9 on 1000 watts with two fi ssds copper coils in a regular ported box. 2cu per woofer. i think i might have scored higher i think cause i used my mp3 player for the song i played and my cd i played later sounded louder. anyway is this decent score? or should i have more on this power? i know i am underpowering them but what do you guys think? Neo_frog
I think you could definitely add more power. I had a plan a while back to use SSDs with 1k a piece, but the amps would be tuned properly. And yes, your CD player will have a stronger signal than your MP3 player in an auxiliary input. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? STEvil
10's, 12's, 15's, 18's...? I did 139.8 with a pair of kicker 10 L5's on ~1600 RMS. ~1.1ft^3 per sub tuned to 30ish hz. Tiny box in a tiny truck lol. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. HHR Ed
yeah you can do more. But CD over an Mp3 player will not be a big jump. Maybe a few tenths. Only 1 way to find out, test again.
