The King of Bass jacked up the mic in my Iphone

Recommended Posts

I made a couple vids when he was demoing at lower volume, and it sounded distorted from the bass as usual, but when he turned it up for candice to sit in the truck, it completely maxed out the mic in my Iphone, which is why there is no sound. If you have never seen this truck in person, it is frickin' AMAZING. The sad part, is that the mids an highs are just as loud as the subs. I was standing 4 feet away and my shirt was blowing like a hairtrick.

Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal?

heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked.

i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat

I was at a monster truck jam last year, just happen to be shooting a video when a truck blew an engine. Shot two more videos before I realized the big boom killed my mic.

Must have overload protect - I rebooted my iPhone and it worked again. . .

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

Yup, it was fine after that.

I've used it to film lots of SERIOUS SPL vehicles at shows, and I've never had the mic cut out before. I guess that's a testament to how retardedly loud Tommy's truck is.
