The A Team Posted May 9, 2010 Author Report Posted May 9, 2010 Yes. This is the second steering column i have broken. The norm seems to be 1 per year. Last time it was broken much worse then this but never turned in a complete 180 on me. I really have no idea how it got like that, but i was in the middle of turning a corner when it rotated around and locked the wheels causing me to end up in the opposing lane at a 45 degree angle blocking the road. Took me about 15 minutes to unlock the wheel to limp it back home. Its dangerous driving these things. Quote
