dvh3273
Hi, guys Im new this boared but not new to car audio. Ok here's the deal I own a 2000 Cadillac Deville and a 2003 Ford Explorer. I want to make an SPL sleeper vehicle out of the caddy. Im building 2 systems one I am doing 2 kicker L7's 15" in a custom made box for the caddy. I have used rockford fosgate amps on my prevous system and wanted something new at 4000 watts(any sugestions?). The kicker setup is only going to be temporary, the custom made box for the caddy will go into my expedition. I'm waiting on my 2 FI 15" subs. Im used to regular old Best Buy off the shelf systems so I need help with what amps work better for the Kickers and what amps will push the FI's properly. Im trying to be through so please forgive the long post. I also have a highpowered altenators coming from Ohio generator for both vehicles. I know you guys know how to build a competition system so HELP!lol Hopefully I didn't leave anything out... Thanks in Advance, Big D. cqtama
no way in hell l7's will take 4000 watts. are you getting the kickers to hold you over until you get the fi's? im asuming btl's with that kind of power. look into sundown, audioque, cresendo if you have the electrical to run at .5 ohm. theres plenty out there. just have to search Quote R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. ryanFA5
Get a sundown 2500 for your L7s right now. Then, when you get the btls, add a second sundown 2500. Thats the way i would go in this situation. Edited May 26, 2010 by kickin00gpGT Quote 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.
