chapo123
dont buy caps man. get a 2nd small batt and do the big 3. your not pushing that much rms so you should be fine with the big 3 and a batt like a hc800 or something. Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked. i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat 2 sa12s, saz1500 build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/91183-chapo123s-sundown-build-log/page__gopid__1250604entry1250604

cqtama
none. caps just add resistance dont really solve any voltage issues. chapo123
big 3 would be the most effective and cheapest to actually help out elc. InfiniteRuckus
i have to agree. i only have a 300 Watt RMS 900 Watt Max MTX TC3002. Even though i read everything about how useless capacitors really are... i bought one anyway. Now i know for a fact they are pretty much a light show & voltage meter cuz they don't do much. i will admit that the dimming is not quite as bad with it installed but it's not fixing the issue that it claims to fix. before my lights were dimming dead on with the beat, now they only flicker when hard notes hit. They stay charged until needed but once it dumps what it has it needs to fill back up. until that bass note stops hitting it stays at whatever voltage it's drained to until it gets the chance to fill back up. until it fills back up it's competing for power with your amp.
