Dltnjest
Well, I can tell you that amp isnt gonna put anywhere near 3200 watts out .. Maybe 2k. I cant stop you from doing what you want. If you do however get that, I would get the D4 ohm for the subs, because your gonna have a fun time trying to run that amp at .5 ohm. Vinnyhimself
so ur recommending a stronger amp? or get 2 amps Edited May 12, 2010 by Vinnyhimself
Dltnjest
You'd be fine with two of those amps. But like I said, I would get the Dual 4 ohm verison, so you can run it at 1 ohm, instead of trying to run it at .5 ohm and frying it, or running it at 2 ohm and not getting all of your power. bumonskateboard6
I'd recommend staying away from power acoustik...and whatever that SPL grla is...go with more reputable brands and you'll get the actual power they're advertising but that's just my 2c Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box... Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
hdorre
Dont expect the Power Acoustik to much out over 2500wrms, if even that. I havent hard of SPL, that doesnt mean its not good. I would go with a bigger name amp. calvin_115
If you are planning to achieve 4k out of the amp, then you would need a REALLY TUFF electrical setup.
