Whatever you say :)

But I won several german/european championships in SPL formats,

2 world championships in Points in dB Drag, played 155,2

dB at 43 hz (back in 2004!!!) with 12 Sony X-Plod Subs and Amps,

won DEATHMATCHES (153,7 dB) made hairtricks (again, 2004!)

participated at the world finals 2004 with that car and

gave demos, even competed with the same car in SQ competitions,

SUCCESSFULLY in big classes, made 250 competitions in 2 years

WITHOUT ONE EQUIPMENT FAILURE.

All Electronics were COMPLETELY Xplod!

Sony made the high quality XES line and still has some

nice Head Units. I still use some of them (of course also back

from 2005).

Whatever you do, it depends not just on the equipment!

With all that talk today about Xplod, I really considered

to put this car back with the Sony Equipment (I still have almost

everything) and show people a basically 6 year old install, 6 year old

"affordable" equipment and I am pretty damn sure I will not

be far away from the top in Bass Race. In 2005 I think my best

score in Bass Race with the Sony was about 152,7 dB. But today I have

some better Music tracks and more experience so I guess if the peak

is at about 155 dB I will be able to do a 154,5 or so.

Well, talk and think what you want.

Its a free world. But I cannot backup your words :)

Dont hate me for that. I made a lot of "hanging faces"

when I competed with that car and won against people

with WAY more expensive equipment! For Fun I put 6 Xplod subs

in my "Terror" and played 155,5 dB with not even 4000 Watts...

I honestly have NO love for sony, but every time a question is asked about it, and I respond, I normally say something about you in it. What you did with those sonys is absolutely amazing and there is prob a few people that can do what you did in the world :)

hoopsi, I updated my posting and so much replies between that.

Seems there is a kind of interest in the thing about Sony :)

I may try to animate them doing another Demo car with me.

But its hard in these times. And it will not be louder

or so, but it will be huge and serve the people and the competition scene.

I am sure you will find out if I can do that :)

I made the mistake and bought a sony HU once about 10 years ago, it would get hot after about 20 mins and start cutting out. I brought it back got a pioneer and never looked back. I love me some Pioneer HUs, although I am running a crappy alpine right now. (was robbed and got it cheap on craigslist)

Alpine CDA-9847 HU

F Highs 2x Infinity Kappa 60.9CS Powered by Eclipse EA4200 Glass door panels

R Highs Infinity Ref. 9622i powered by HU

3x RF Punch HX2 RFD2210 Powered by MTX Thunder 81000D

Box Vol. 3.259 before displacement, Tuned 36.6, Port area 54"
