I have two 12's and a 1000 watt amp. Single cab Ranger. 5cubic foot box tuned to 45hz.

If i were to go to a sound comp what all could i do and be competitive in. Please describe the events too...I'm a re re....

JVC AVX-44 and 360.2

Subs: 2 RF T1 12s 1ohm mono off a RF T1500bdcp 80hz \/ in a 2.3cube 45hz slot port

Mids: 2 O2 8's off a Punch 550.2 behind seat, 2 Image Cxs 6.5's and 2 ID XS 6x9s 80-3khz in doors on a T600.2

Highs: 2 ID CD.1 MH HLCD 8ohm off a RF 400.4 3khz /\

Really depends on what sanction body puts the show on. Or if its a local run show, what style of rules they use.

Take a look at HHR Ed's video he posted up earlier. Pretty much all you need to know about competing. Or are you wondering what class you'd be in?

yeah classes... I'll do the pre show set up right i just need to know what to enter when I show up. I don't want to end up in a big boy's game with just 1000 watts at 142db if that.... I watched that vid before a made the post and then looked at all the Meca shows coming up in my area.... TN-NC-SC and want to go to at lest one or two this summer.

It definitely depends on which circuit you compete with but let me give you a warning when you go to a show be careful because its very easy to get hooked on competing then you can wave Bye Bye to all your time and money LOL.

As for your question anyone who competes stands a chance of winning. So go out compete and most of all just have fun learning
