Lvl4s to replace kickers?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone.

I have a 07 charger with two 10" Kicker CVXs powered by a Kicker ZX1500.1.

I have had these for several years and am looking to move on to something else. Something that will hit harder (not impressed with these honestly) and sound better as well. I mainly listen to classic rock, alternative and a little rap. Would a single 12" lvl4 get the job done in a ported enclosure? Has anyone installed it in a sealed enclosure and been happy with it as well?

Appreciate any advice.

The Level 4 is a great sounding sub, It does not say it on the web-site but it does really well in sealed set ups

How much space would you recommend for a sealed 15" Level 4, Rusty?

There is not even a comparison between these subs. The lvl4s are bad mo fos.
