Audioque 20k amp

Dude really...wow its at 12v. Not all that awesome. So are the stetsoms and sound digitals. Like eric said...might as well get 2 3500s...numbers arewnt all that amazing outta this amp.

Numbers arent all that amazing? It puts out more than 2 Rockford t4ks at 12volts and you save atleast a grand. Why is it common for people to hate on Audioque?

and they let off magic smoke ALL THE TIME, i would not put them in a "reliable" category yet

its more efficient with less thd than the 3500s

2 3500s on 12.5v would make ~7000w max... 2 on 18v makes 12000

so even with 3 3500s on 18v its still less than the aq20k... 3 3500s cost 2247... 1 aq20k is 1799 and thats why people with 16-18v will love this amp

anymore lame arguments not involving power or warranties that i can squash <_<

Damn, Decaf's got his shit straight! I like how you give stats and specs too..Its nice to know that some people still know how to argue properly

@ 12 volts with less then 1% thd guy.

at 14.4 and say 5% thd which you wont ever hear the difference between .1 and 5 youll prolly get ike 13 or 14K RMS

Alpine, its better then that sound digital you're running :D

ya right 12k at 12v vs. 8k at 12v muuuch better

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

don't buy it

This is one of the, if not the most pointless comment. You plan on backing yourself up? Like giving reasons?

Probably, especially because theres no warrenty

Does 12.5 volts make you feel better?

Fixed it..thanks :-)

As i said before, its at 12.5 volts

Yeah, thats really the only downfall; well besides the price. :P

sooo what I got a 7200 watt amp rated at 12.5 v for half the price on the for sale section

This is one of the, if not the most stupid comment. You plan on backing yourself up? Like giving reasons?

lol you dont know Treo

and i suggest you end it now

the reason i wouldnt trust this amp was explained to me in chat one night

-there is an idea for an amazing huge amp

-a prototype is created and it does great power and is very solid

-the amp costs too much to be profitable

-amp creator send to some asian company where they can save $3 a cap, $2 a fet and so on

-the cost of the amp is now reasonable

-the amp is now not the same amp as the prototype

if it is cheap then there is probably a reason.
