joshuajetlee
just as the title says, how do you wire 3 dual 1 ohm subs to 1 ohm. in particular my equiptment is a sundown saz 3500d and i will be getting 3 btl 12's. is it even possible to get to 1 ohm with 3 dual 1's or the dual 2's for that matter? any input would be really appreciated
C-Fizzy
First off, do NOT run 3 BTL's on a single 3500, just get 1. hdorre
One fully loaded could probably take 3500 clean wrms (if it were d2). Get a bigger amp Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
Team_DC-Derrick
if he wants 3 BTLs on 1 3500 i say go for it.. its not gonna kill the sub to under power it.. and hes prob gonna put about 1200-1500 per sub if he wires it alittle under 1 ohm which is a nice break in power.. and its only a 2000 rms rated sub, just because everyone sees other people doing it doesnt mean he has 2... edit if you get D .7 you can wire it to .8 if you wire it like the diagram shows the 1.5 ohm load.. just fyi Edited May 25, 2010 by Team_DC-Derrick Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... joshuajetlee
yeah i was gonna get another 3500 in the near future i just dont have that kind of money right now. its already bad enough that the price of the amp is gonna go up after the preorder goes away. but yeah i was gonna get 2 btls for right now (after they get off back order) then a couple weeks later i was gonna get another. i would do 4 of em but i dont have enough room in my blazer. im trying to keep the box below my back seat for competition reasons. im pretty sure i can get 3 of them in there with like 2.5 cubes per sub. does that sound ok? hdorre
He might as well get 3 fi qs right? they will be cheaper and he'd be giving them adequate power Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
