Looks like we are in for one truck for sure, maybe two depending on how well it comes together Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Looks like we are in for one truck for sure, maybe two depending on how well it comes together Thanks Bill, glad to be here. I might have to take you up on your offer for help, I'm all ears if you want to throw some advice my way. As a matter of fact I want to hear ideas from anybody who wants to share. What's the best show you ever attended? Why? What did it offer that other shows did not? We'll have a beer garden, live music, dj's, classic car show, and are playing with some other ideas but I would love to have some input from people who will be attending. I want to make this the best event you've ever attended. I set up the online registration in hopes that is would help me to be more organized the day of the event. Hopefully everyone will see the benefits of pre-registering and will take the time and do it. So far I've had a great response and if everyone comes that says they are coming....we are going to have one hell of an event!
kingsuv
Show wise, how big is this car show now? How many years has this show been going on for? What kind of fliers do they have? Any radio ad's? The real key to getting a show to be a success is to get the word out. Hitting up different forums other then car audio also helps. If you guys have a local weekend morning show, then hit them up and maybe they can do a live spot out there. If they will, then maybe we can get some stereo cars out their early to give demos and help explain how the competition works. I have done this in the past with great success. I would also hit up the local radio stations and see if they will do live spots as well. Sometimes they will also do stuff like giveaways for movie tickets and whatnot. Maybe we can get a few manufactures together and do product giveaways with these media outlets. Just my .02 Designing, building, and shipping boxes. This show averages 600+ cars annually and is on it's 12th year. It's hosted/sponsored by the casino which spends million on advertising each year. I've sent out over 500 flyers already and have another 500 sitting on my desk and the graphics department is ready to print more whenever I'm ready for them (got posters to hang in shops and wherever else I can get them up). We will start a rotation with radio ads about a month before the event and are planning a demo comp that will air on the morning news about 2 weeks before the show (working on having them do a live spot the day of but we are a 2 hour drive away from the nearest news station and they won't commit yet). We normally giveaway packages, hotel with dinner an a concert, stuff like that but product giveaways would be sweet! I've had a few companies donate gear for raffles on the day of the show, all of the proceeds will be donated to charity (this is a charity event, 100% of the proceeds from the car show and the CA comp are donated to charity).
