HHR Ed
Its a mono amp. There are just 2 + and 2 - speaker outputs. Choose whichever ones you want because they are connected internally. Just hook up to one of the + and one of the -. chapo123
if it has 2 channels, its bridgable... just put 1 pos on 1 side, and 1 neg on the other side... the reason for 2 channels is to make it easier on the wiring... so you can just run 1 sub on 1 channel and 1 sub on the other, and it still presents a 1 ohm load, if you had d4 wired to 2 ohm each lol my bad i didnt notice you edited this. i just flew to the new posts Quote Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Infinite913
sorry if im being a noob man. im just trying to learn. ok here is what I have for you because hifonics does the same thing. if you hook the outter + to the inner - its still the same as hook the outter + to the outter - or vice versa you will get the same thing from the amp. The reason they do this is lets say you have to seperate 12's and they are 4 ohm and you dont have a 1 ohm stable amp then you can not wire them together because that would achieve a 1 ohm so you would wire them seperate and achieve 2 ohm load with each amp. Now say you wanted to use your amp and it only had one source of + - when you put both wire in it brings the load down and that is not the proper way of wiring together subs as you already know. So what they do for you is off "2 channels" and the reason I use quotes is because mono is one channel regardless. but now you have the ability to run two subs and 2 ohms and not have the wires touch. you would put speaker A into the left +/- and speaker B into right +/- and TADA.....BOOM BOOM BOOM the proper way. I hope this helps man if not just let me know I can walk you through a different way. Edited May 31, 2010 by Infinite913

What you said does not make sense. if you have 2) 4ohm subs and wire the terminals in parallel together, they will be a 2ohm load. Now, if you run the wires seperate to a mono amp with 2) terminals, they will still be paralleled to a 2ohm load. What I said in my previous post is FACT, not my interperatation.
