How about preventative maintenence. IMO

You own a blazer so you should already know the issue's. Yours looks newer than 97 so your gaskets are better and dex-cool friendly. The only thing Teddy could have done was stop driving the vehicle when we noticed the oil was over full. He drove it like that for about 2 weeks, Realized that the oil had turned into pudding (what it looks like) and had a shop change his intake gasket, When they opened it up it was FULL of pudding like garbage. Unfortunately this just happens to alot of 4.3L owners. His father had the gaskets changed ~140K so he thought he was in the clear.

My Blue truck however did NOT have water in the oil, the motor had been rebuilt and i believe that the Head gasket failed, IDK because I sold the truck the next day when I heard the tick.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

coolant in the oil shouldnt really fuck the bearings unless theres a shit ton in the oil and you drove around on it for while. like i said change the oil and restart the truck.

:noob:

I don't mean to sound like a dick but when you don't really know than STFU. Go add 20 oz of water to your oil and let me know if that makes it make weird noise's...

Water isn't a good lubricant, and since we all SHOULD know that oil is lighter than water, IT ONLY makes since that that Bearings would be covered in water...

Keep in mind that all my lovely post are coming from a blazer LOVER. I love my truck but hate GM for sucking :turkey: <-- thats realyl a cock btw, Who the fuck want to say "TURKEY"?

I slammed my engine into a parked car at 85 mph it works fine, needless to say it pushes a whole new S10 around...

I have the engine from the truck we put that one into, it does that clunking.

Well that's nice. COOL STORY BRO, but i don't think your shitty driving has anything to do with an intake leak. Come reply to this thread in 40 K miles when your intake shits on you..

205K on my 4.3 still running like a camp!

i think your cause was lack of routine maintenance.IMO

See my other posts... ill be nice to you... :drink40:

it would run like ass if at all if you had intake leak

:trippy: Really? I wish it was that simple...

Here is how it works...

When you vehicle is warm your cooling system is under pressure, About 16 PSI, When you shut your car off the coolant is still under pressure and leaks into places it doesn't belong. Yes if it were a large leak than you would notice lack of power BUT since its not that simple you could EASILY drive like that for weeks or even months and never even know the DEX-COOL monster is fucking you in your tail-pipe...

Shit sucks.. Time to go swimming as its 95 degrees here in Lansing MI.

Late reply but I know I drove on my 4.3 Silverado for months leaking coolent the truck dripped some and ate the rest didnt realize it was eating it untill I had it in the garage and you could smell it a few months later I had to have an injector replaced and the mechanic noticed it wasnt running 100% right and it was internal needless to say I got rid of it the next day
