Rogers Posted July 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2010 alright... to the top from page 5? lol... ive been uber busy lately sooo... heres my latest updates it was time to get rolling on the build... so a little motivation never hurts... keep in mind that the only time i get to work on this stuff is from 8 in the morning to noon, after i have worked all night... Nothing like Beer and resin fumes in the morning.... i filled in all of the screw holes and tried to hide the seams as good as i could... lots of sanding and lots of filling once that was about as good as it was going to get, i hit it with some primer... sanded smooth then primer again, then fine sanded then it was time to hit it with the white paint and clear coat... once the clear coat was dry and cured fully i taped everything off and painted the port i then let the enclosure set for a couple days to let all of the paint and stuff have just a little more time to cure out... its been humid as hell so i didnt want to take any chances... so after those couple days i gutted my current system out of the car and mounted the woofers in the box to see how it would look and to make the screw holes since i wont be mounting the woofers until the enclosure is in the car... then once that was done, i put the enclosure in the car... for now its just chilling there... im waiting for some speaker wire in the mail and im also waiting for next weeks paycheck, so i can buy more materials... ive got to buy materials for the amp rack and ive got to buy some more 1/0 anyways... heres a sneek peak at what its going to look like... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79921-rogers-700-dream-car-update-page-17-a-wall/?p=2335774 93 Saturn SC2My system4 SA-15's Walled 2 Cerwin-Vega S2000's 3 Kinetik Hc2000's Dual 200amp alts. you guys done with the peepee touching contest or do I need to end it?
