My system consists of 2 - Ascendant Audio Mayham 18's in a 8 foot cubic box in a 1999 Acura Integra 4 - Kinetic 2400s 1 - 320 Amp Mechman Alternator Prevously I ran Two Rockford Fosgate T4000 amps, which resulted in official scores of Db Drag = 152.5 Bassrace = 150.0 At the Lake County Show I had a single Sound digital 8K, which resulted in official scores of Db Drag = 153.2 Bassrace = 150.3 I will post scores, now that my sundown 4500s have arrived. My Bass Boxing is louder than Burp! - 155.5 DB Drag Burp- 155.6 - IASCA Bass Boxing on music (30 seconds straight) sealed up Builds 1. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Product: Sound Digital SD 8K Manufactured by: Sound Digital Purchased/recieved from: Borrowed from Team Audio Connection - Jim MSRP = $1,999.00 So I borrowed this amp from my teammate and was not sure what to expect. Looking at the amp, I thought “ No way does this thing produce 8,000 watts of power, especially not on a daily basis.” As soon as I wired it up, all my concerns were gone. This amp is incredibly power for its physical size. It is smaller than most amps rated for 4,000 watts. We did need to install a Hifonics EQ to get the sound dialed in, and once it was, all I can say is WOW. This amp had no problem pushing my two Ascendant Mayham 18’s harder than they have ever been pushed before. The amp has six fans inside that would turn on and keep the amp cool, even after beating on it hard all day. The amp never shut down, never went into protect. It exceeded all of my expectations by far. The only negative is the price. But as the saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” Official Scores at the Dash. and YES.
