As long as you're confident to 100% with your connections that's fine.

Don't be scared of a little molten lead hittin ya! Just the other day I had to solder a tap into an ignition lead under the dash of a 2010 Camaro. There's little to no room to work under those dashes.

Shit the new camaros are easy... just hit everything at the bcm like in newer GM trucks/suvs :)

After 3 days, my 91 Baja is fully armed and power locked. Would have been able to do it in under 2 days but i also did a lot of little fixes that i was able to get to while i had the dash, doors and around the battery tray out. :)

Works great so far. I do want to turn the sensitivity up a bit due to it taking a rather hard rap on the windows and body panels to set it off.

Yeah everything's there, but all in low current carrying wires. :(
