We all know what most of the cones look like on most subs, but now to me the motor means more.. Jay

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

I'm having to use one of my friends old ass decks cause my Alpine 9857 took a crap on me.. Weird thing is that its get power to it, fuse is good on the back of the deck, but she won't power up.. I guess I got my 5 years out of it.. I do have a question guys.. Should I just fire it up with all 6 on the one side or mount 3 per side and seal off the bottom 3 on each side? Thanks guys.. Jay

Jay i would do all so u get a feeling of how it gonna act altogether thats just my oppinion though

THEKINGsBACK Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 yes sir... get that monster playin...ready for this one... he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
