Man that is gonna' be crazy! :D Those amps put on the weight for sure- but having the batteries all the way in the back can't help either.

Astros and their Fiberglass Leaf Springs!!!

Rusty, how does yours do with all of those goodies holding it up? Still just a stop-gap kind of thing to keep it from going bottom up in the turns? :D

Moonweezle9- you may have to get helper bags... I sit right at level now, but that doesn't say much for the ride. I found a site with pretty good prices and several options...

You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. I would follow you to hell and back.

man id rather put helper bags on then change the leaf springs to hell with that. those fiberglass mono leafs are a bitch to swap out, plus those things ^^ are no harder to put on that bags. plus bags are adjustable them bump stops just ride rough as hell

Mine sits level now. When it had 32 batts in there it still squatted though. It drives great in a straight line. Just got to slow down for the corners. I have been debating either replaceing the glass leafs with a steel leaf spring pack or bagging it

That's what I am thinking too brother. The ONLY thing I worry about is longevity. I don't want something else to break later (bags leaking down). ...well, that and a helper spring that can be put on the composite leaf springs can be had for about $60, while bags are $240ish. But I am with you, I really like the idea of the bags better.

Cool. I know you have both of us beat on weight- by a looong shot. Yours is in a different league than ours for sure.

Mine isn't my daily driver (as I have a company work truck), but it very well could be. I don't really have drive-ability issues, but you just have to know the limitations of the vehicle.

Another question for both of you guys- what kind of Tires do you run? I can tell you one thing, my 4 ply tires are NOT happy. I had to get new ones a bit ago b/c the old ones were shot- and wanted to get a new wheel and tire combo, but $$ wasn't right at the time. In 15", selection is pretty limited. I don't want something that looks like a truck tire, but man- I need a 6 ply or something strong.

*** EDIT- not trying to thread jack, D. My mind just goes wandering and we all have this in common. hehe ****
